Canadian Association of Food Service Professionals (CAFP)

Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals (CAFP) is an organization that promotes networking, education, professional development, and community involvement around food and foodservice. Acadia CAFP offers the ability to attend events, join committees, and opportunities to run for executive positions. As a member you will have the chance to attend monthly meetings, usually accompanied by a fantastic meal, obtain bursaries exclusive to CAFP members, and have access to a multitude of networking and learning experiences. CAFP has student and professional branches across Canada and a national conference is held every year to bring all of these branches together.

Here at Acadia we are proud to have a student branch to host events for members. Some of these events include:

- Annual spaghetti dinner education night

- Practicum student panel

- Tours of local companies

- Potlucks

- Guest speaker events

- Apple picking

- Networking dinners

- and so much more!
