Acadia Community Farm

The Acadia Community Farm is a community garden and education centre located on the Acadia University campus. It provides a place for students and community members alike to grow and learn about organic, sustainable food production through volunteer-based gardening, workshops, and events. Much of the food is grown for the university’s dining hall and the Wolfville Food Bank. The Acadia Community Farm is a rich source of educational opportunities for students, and the School of Nutrition and Dietetics has recognized this, and gives students the opportunity to interact with and volunteer at the Farm through various courses within the program.
